Objetivo Birmania

OBJETIVO BIRMANIA fue un grupo musical español que vivió dos etapas diferenciadas. De 1982 a 1986, fueron una banda con cuatro instrumentistas masculinos y tres voces femeninas, una solista y dos coristas conocidas como las Birmettes. En 1987, se produjo un cisma en el grupo que provocó una lucha entre las dos mitades por el nombre que se resolvió en los tribunales. Los miembros que se hicieron con los derechos del nombre decidieron seguir adelante con el grupo, mientras los otros se dedicaron a otros proyectos o abandonaron la música. Tras una convocatoria de cástines, el grupo se reformó y reconvirtió en un trío vocal femenino. Esta nueva versión de la formación, completamente diferente en estructura y estilo, debutó en 1989. Objetivo Birmania se separaría definitivamente en diciembre de 1991
