Orange Juice

ORANGE JUICE fue una banda escocesa de post-punk formada en 1979 en Glasgow, inicialmente bajo el nombre de Nu-Sonics. La banda, liderada por Edwyn Collins, se destacó por su sonido innovador que combinaba elementos de punk, disco y pop. Su sencillo más exitoso, Rip It Up, alcanzó el puesto número 8 en las listas del Reino Unido en 1983. A pesar de su éxito inicial, la banda enfrentó tensiones internas y cambios en su formación, lo que llevó a su disolución en 1985. Tras la separación, Edwyn Collins continuó con una exitosa carrera en solitario
