Pete Townshend

PETE TOWNSHEND es un guitarrista, cantante y compositor británico, reconocido internacionalmente por ser el guitarrista y principal compositor de una de las bandas de rock más influyentes y legendarias del siglo XX: The Who. Su carrera con The Who abarca más de cincuenta años, durante los cuales el grupo pasó a ser considerado una de las bandas más innovadoras y revolucionarias de la historia del rock, con obras maestras como Tommy, Quadrophenia o Who’s Next. Además de su trabajo con The Who, Townshend ha publicado varios álbumes en solitario, así como libros, ensayos y guiones. Ha sido galardonado con numerosos premios y reconocimientos, como el Grammy, el Brit o el Kennedy Center Honors
