Peter Gabriel

PETER GABRIEL, cuyo nombre real es Peter Brian Gabriel, nació el 13 de febrero de 1950 en Chobham, Surrey, Inglaterra. Es un cantautor y productor británico de rock, conocido por ser el vocalista principal y flautista de la banda de rock progresivo Genesis. Después de abandonar Genesis, comenzó una exitosa carrera en solitario y se involucró en varios esfuerzos humanitarios. Gabriel es considerado un pionero en el uso del stage diving, en la aparición en público con trajes y disfraces como parte del espectáculo, y en el uso innovador de los videoclips con recursos como stop-motion. En 2007, fue galardonado como un icono BMI en la 57.ª edición de los BMI London Awards por su «influencia generacional en la música»1. En 2010 y 2014, fue introducido en el Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
