Pigbag

PIGBAG fue una banda británica de post-punk y dance-punk, conocida por su estilo musical que fusionaba funk, jazz y new wave. Formada en Cheltenham, Inglaterra, en 1980 por Chris Hamlin, un estudiante de moda, y James Johnstone, la banda se destacó por sus instrumentales energéticos y su habilidad para mezclar diferentes géneros. Aunque su actividad fue breve, activos entre 1980 y 1983, dejaron una marca indeleble en la música con su icónico single Papa’s Got A Brand New Pigbag, que sigue siendo un clásico de las pistas de baile
