Polecats

POLECATS es una banda inglesa de rockabilly formada en 1977 en el norte de Londres. La formación original incluía a Tim Worman (vocalista), Martin “Boz” Boorer (guitarrista y vocalista), Phil Bloomberg (bajista) y Chris Hawkes (baterista). Inicialmente conocidos como Cult Heroes, cambiaron su nombre a Polecats para encajar mejor en la escena rockabilly. Firmaron con Mercury Records en 1980 y lanzaron su álbum más exitoso, Polecats Are Go!, en 1981. La banda es conocida por su estilo único que combina rockabilly clásico con influencias punk, y ha colaborado con artistas como Morrissey. A lo largo de los años, han mantenido una base de fans leal y han contribuido significativamente al renacimiento del rockabilly en los años 80
