Prince Charles And The City Beat Band

PRINCE CHARLES AND THE CITY BEAT BAND fue una banda estadounidense de synth-funk activa a principios de la década de 1980. La banda estaba liderada por Charles “Prince Charles” Alexander, un productor discográfico y ingeniero de audio estadounidense. Alexander nació en Boston y es graduado de la Boston Latin School. Tocaba un sintetizador de viento único llamado el “Lyricon” en grabaciones y en presentaciones en vivo. Junto con el manager y productor ejecutivo Tony Rose (Solid Platinum Records & Productions), Prince Charles grabó y coprodujo tres álbumes, “Gang War”, “Stone Killers”, y “Combat Zone” en Virgin Records desde principios hasta mediados de la década de 1980.
