R.E.M.

R.E.M. fue una banda de rock alternativo estadounidense formada en 1980 en Athens, Georgia, por Michael Stipe (vocalista), Peter Buck (guitarrista), Mike Mills (bajista) y Bill Berry (baterista). Se destacaron por su estilo de guitarra arpegiado, las letras oscuras y la voz distintiva de Stipe. Tras el éxito en la escena alternativa, alcanzaron fama mundial, vendiendo más de 90 millones de álbumes. La banda se disolvió amistosamente en 2011
