River City People

RIVER CITY PEOPLE fue un cuarteto de folk rock formado en Liverpool, Inglaterra, en 1986 por la vocalista Siobhan Maher, el guitarrista Tim Speed, su hermano baterista Paul Speed y el bajista Dave Snell. El grupo apareció en el programa de televisión The Chart Show y poco después firmó con EMI, lanzando su primer single (What’s Wrong With) Dreaming? en 1989. Su álbum debut, Say Something Good, se publicó ese mismo año, seguido de This Is the World en 1991. El grupo se separó en 1992, después de tener varios éxitos como California Dreamin’, una versión del clásico de The Mamas & the Papas
