Robert Palmer

ROBERT PALMER, nacido el 19 de enero de 1949 en Batley, Inglaterra, fue un músico, productor, compositor y multinstrumentista inglés. A lo largo de su carrera, Palmer fue conocido por su versatilidad musical, abarcando géneros como el rock, blue-eyed soul, pop rock, rhythm and blues, jazz, reggae, calypso, new wave, synth pop, funk, dance-rock, worldbeat y bossa nova. Comenzó su carrera a los quince años y, tras pasar por varias bandas, incluyendo Vinegar Joe y The Power Station, se lanzó como solista, logrando éxitos como “Addicted to Love” y “Simply Irresistible”. Palmer falleció el 26 de septiembre de 2003 en París, Francia
