Robin Trower

ROBIN TROWER, nacido el 9 de marzo de 1945 en Catford, Londres, es un guitarrista de rock inglés que alcanzó la fama con Procol Harum entre 1967 y 1971, y luego como líder de su propio trío, la Robin Trower Band. Comenzó su carrera en 1962 con la banda The Paramounts, que más tarde incluiría a Gary Brooker. Tras la disolución de The Paramounts en 1966, Trower formó parte de Procol Harum, contribuyendo a los primeros cinco álbumes del grupo. En 1973, fundó la Robin Trower Band y en 1974 lanzaron “Bridge of Sighs”, un álbum que, junto con sus primeros y terceros álbumes en solitario, fue producido por su excompañero de banda Matthew Fisher. Trower es conocido por su influencia en otros guitarristas legendarios y por su estilo distintivo, a menudo comparado con Jimi Hendrix
