Run DMC

RUN DMC fue un influyente grupo de hip hop formado en Hollis, Queens, Nueva York en 1981. Compuesto por Joseph “Run” Simmons, Darryl “DMC” McDaniels y Jason “Jam Master Jay” Mizell, “Run DMC” es a menudo acreditado por popularizar el hip hop y llevarlo a la corriente principal. Son conocidos por su fusión de rock y hip hop, como se evidencia en su exitoso cover de “Walk This Way” de Aerosmith. A lo largo de su carrera, “Run DMC” ha sido elogiado por su innovación musical y su impacto cultural, y fue el primer grupo de hip hop en ser incluido en el Salón de la Fama del Rock and Roll.
