Salt 'N' Pepa

SALT 'N' PEPA es un grupo de hip hop estadounidense formado en Nueva York en 1985, compuesto por Cheryl “Salt” James, Sandra “Pepa” Denton y la DJ Deidra “Spinderella” Roper. Conocidas por su estilo innovador y sus letras empoderadoras, se convirtieron en pioneras del rap femenino. Su álbum debut, Hot, Cool & Vicious (1986), incluyó el éxito “Push It”, que las catapultó a la fama. A lo largo de su carrera, lanzaron varios álbumes exitosos como A Salt with a Deadly Pepa (1988) y Very Necessary (1993), ganando múltiples premios y vendiendo más de 15 millones de discos en todo el mundo.
