Shakespear's Sister

SHAKESPEAR'S SISTER es un dúo musical de pop y rock alternativo que se formó en 1988 por la cantautora irlandesa Siobhan Fahey, ex miembro de Bananarama, y la músico estadounidense Marcella Detroit. Juntas lanzaron dos álbumes en el top 10 y varios éxitos en el top 40, incluyendo el sencillo “Stay”, que se mantuvo en el número 1 de las listas británicas durante ocho semanas. Detroit fue despedida del grupo en 1993, y Fahey continuó el proyecto en solitario hasta 1996. En 2019, Fahey y Detroit se reunieron como Shakespear’s Sister para una gira y lanzaron nuevos sencillos y un EP
