Shalamar

SHALAMAR es un grupo musical estadounidense que se destacó en las décadas de 1970 y 1980 por su estilo que fusiona música disco, post-disco, R&B, boogie y soul. Fue creado por Dick Griffey y Don Cornelius, y sus integrantes clásicos fueron Howard Hewett, Jody Watley y Jeffrey Daniel. La banda es conocida por ser un trío influyente de baile y también por ser íconos de moda y tendencias. Su primer éxito fue “Uptown Festival” en 1977, y luego tuvieron varios éxitos como “The Second Time Around” en 1979, y “Don’t Want To Wait Anymore”, “Sushi Girl” y “Talk To You Later” del álbum "The Completion Backward Principle". Aunque la banda se separó en 1983, una versión de la banda ha continuado de gira y grabando
