SHY formada en Portsmouth, estaba compuesta por Andy Fretwell, Bob Snelling, Brian Howe, Chris Fretwell y Graham Jessup. Aunque no hay mucha información disponible sobre esta agrupación, se sabe que lanzaron el single Girl (It’s All I Have) en 1979 bajo el sello Gallery, y otro single titulado Be By My Side en 1980.
