Take 3

TAKE 3 fue una banda de South London formada por las hermanas Jackie y Jean Heron y Marlène Richardson, quienes anteriormente formaban parte del grupo de armonía vocal de lovers rock, Alpha. La banda fue la creación del trío de escritores y productores SHE, compuesto por Steve Sinclair, Peter Hinds y Kevin Ellis. Se conocieron en el centro comunitario The Factory en Paddington, donde comenzaron a escribir y dirigir sus propias producciones teatrales como parte de The Black Theatre Co-Op. Cuando una canción que habían escrito juntos para una de sus producciones recibió elogios, comenzaron a escribir y producir discos, trayendo al más experimentado Peter Hinds, ex miembro de los grupos brit funk Light Of The World y Beggar & Co., y músico con Incognito, Imagination y Loose Ends, para completar el círculo
