Tanita Tikaram

TANITA TIKARAM nació el 12 de agosto de 1969 en Münster, Alemania Occidental. Es una cantante y compositora británica conocida por su estilo que mezcla pop y folk. Alcanzó el éxito con los singles Twist in My Sobriety y Good Tradition de su álbum debut Ancient Heart en 1988. Hija de un oficial del ejército británico de origen indo-fiyiano y una madre malaya, Tikaram se mudó a Inglaterra en su adolescencia. Comenzó su carrera musical cantando en clubes nocturnos y fue descubierta por WEA Records. A lo largo de su carrera, ha lanzado varios álbumes y ha continuado actuando y grabando música, manteniendo una base de seguidores leales
