TEENA MARIE, cuyo nombre real era Mary Christine Brockert, nació el 5 de marzo de 1956 en Santa Mónica, California, y falleció el 26 de diciembre de 2010 en Pasadena, California. Conocida como la “Ivory Queen of Soul”, fue una destacada cantante estadounidense de R&B y Soul, además de ser guitarrista, compositora y productora. Su talento multiinstrumental y su voz potente la hicieron una figura icónica en la música, con éxitos como “I’m A Sucker For Your Love” y “Lovergirl”, y su legado continúa influyendo en artistas contemporáneos
