The Band Of Holy Joy

THE BAND OF HOLY JOY es una banda inglesa formada en 1984 en New Cross, Londres, por Johny Brown. Con un estilo que combina folk urbano, pop alternativo y post-punk, la banda alcanzó su pico comercial y crítico tras firmar con Rough Trade y lanzar los álbumes Manic, Magic, Majestic en 1989 y Positively Spooked en 1990. Tras varios cambios y periodos de inactividad, se reformaron en 2002 y han seguido lanzando música y realizando presentaciones en vivo, manteniendo su relevancia en la escena musical alternativa
