The Blues Band

THE BLUES BAND fue una banda británica de blues formada en 1979 por Paul Jones, ex vocalista y armonicista de Manfred Mann, y el guitarrista Tom McGuinness, también de Manfred Mann y The Roosters. La alineación original incluía al bajista Gary Fletcher, al guitarrista de slide Dave Kelly, quien había tocado con The John Dummer Band, Howling Wolf y John Lee Hooker, y al baterista Hughie Flint, de John Mayall’s Blues Breakers y McGuinness Flint. En 1982, Flint fue reemplazado por el ex baterista de Family, Rob Townsend. La banda se disolvió en 2022
