The Bureau

THE BUREAU fue una banda de new wave soul formada en noviembre de 1980 en Birmingham, Inglaterra, por exmiembros de Dexys Midnight Runners. Conocidos por su potente sonido soul impulsado por secciones de viento, la banda mantuvo las raíces de Dexys y se destacó en la escena musical con su single Let Him Have It. A pesar de su talento y una serie de actuaciones memorables, incluyendo giras con The Pretenders y apariciones en televisión, The Bureau no logró un éxito comercial significativo en las listas del Reino Unido, aunque sí alcanzaron cierta popularidad en Australia. La banda se disolvió poco después, dejando tras de sí un legado de música apasionada y una huella en el género del soul británico
