The Darling Buds

THE DARLING BUDS son una banda de indie pop británica formada en Newport, Gales, en 1986. La banda originalmente consistía en Andrea Lewis Jarvis (voz), Geraint Farr (batería), y los hermanos Richard y Simon Gray (guitarra y bajo). Son conocidos por su sonido jangly y melódico que se alinea con la escena indie pop de finales de los años 80. Aunque no lograron un gran éxito comercial, The Darling Buds lanzó cuatro álbumes, “Pop Said…” en 1988, “Crawdaddy” en 1990, “Erotica” en 1992, y “Evergreen” en 2017, y varios singles que fueron bien recibidos en la escena indie. La banda se disolvió en 1993, pero se reformó en 2010 para una serie de conciertos y ha estado activa desde entonces.
