The Desert Wolves

THE DESERT WOLVES fue un grupo pop de cinco miembros originario de Manchester, activo a mediados de los años 80. En 1987 lanzaron dos sencillos bajo el sello Ugly Man Records, que recibieron aclamación crítica pero no lograron un gran impacto comercial fuera de Manchester. La formación en ese momento incluía a Martin King (vocalista principal), David Platten (guitarra líder), Nick Platten (guitarra rítmica), Richard Jones (bajo) y Craig Winterburn (batería). A pesar de su corta duración, la banda dejó una huella en la escena musical, y su música encontró una nueva audiencia con el advenimiento de internet
