The Gap Band

THE GAP BAND fue una banda estadounidense de funk y R&B formada en 1967 en Tulsa, Oklahoma, por los hermanos Charlie, Ronnie y Robert Wilson. La banda alcanzó la fama en las décadas de 1970 y 1980 con éxitos como “You Dropped a Bomb on Me” y “Outstanding”. Conocidos por su estilo energético y sus innovadoras mezclas de funk, soul y R&B, The Gap Band dejó una marca indeleble en la música antes de retirarse en 2010
