The Gun Club

THE GUN CLUB fue una banda de post-punk estadounidense de Los Ángeles que existió desde 1979 hasta 1996. Fue creada y liderada por el cantautor y guitarrista Jeffrey Lee Pierce. Fueron notables como una de las primeras bandas en la subcultura del punk rock en incorporar influencias del blues, rockabilly y música country. The Gun Club ha sido llamada una banda de "blues psicobilly tribal"¹, así como iniciadores del sonido punk blues¹. Su sencillo de mayor éxito fue "Fire of Love" lanzado en 1981.
