The Joneses

THE JONESES fue una banda de soul y funk que se formó en 1969 en Pittsburgh, Pensilvania, y que estuvo activa hasta 1977. El grupo estaba integrado por Glenn Dorsey, Lee Valentine, Richard Pratt y Harold Taylor, y se caracterizó por su fusión de soul, funk y disco, y por sus armonías vocales y sus letras sugestivas. El grupo tuvo varios éxitos, como Sugar Pie Guy, Hey Babe (Is The Gettin’ Still Good?), Fire y Who Loves You, y publicó tres álbumes de estudio: Keepin’ Up With The Joneses (1974), The Joneses (1975) y Our Love Song (1977)
