The Kinks

THE KINKS, formados en Londres en 1963 por los hermanos Ray y Dave Davies, son una de las bandas más emblemáticas del rock británico. Con éxitos como “You Really Got Me”, se destacaron en la Invasión Británica y evolucionaron desde el R&B hasta el rock con tintes de music hall británico. Su música reflejaba la cultura inglesa, y tras un declive a mediados de los 70, revivieron con álbumes como “State of Confusion”. Influenciaron a muchas bandas y su legado perdura en la historia del rock
