The Lambrettas

THE LAMBRETTAS es una banda británica de mod revival formada en Brighton en 1979. Con Jez Bird (voz y guitarra), Doug Sanders (guitarra), Mark Ellis (bajo) y Paul Wincer (batería), se hicieron rápidamente un nombre en la escena musical con su estilo enérgico y pegajosas melodías pop. Inspirados por el movimiento mod de los años 60, tomaron su nombre de las scooters Lambretta, un símbolo icónico de la cultura mod. Su álbum debut, Beat Boys In The Jet Age, lanzado en 1980, incluyó éxitos como Da-a-a-ance y consolidó su lugar en la música británica. A lo largo de su carrera, The Lambrettas continuaron celebrando y reviviendo el espíritu mod con su música
