The Mood Elevators

THE MOOD ELEVATORSs fueron un acto de new wave originario de Birmingham, Reino Unido, en la década de 1980. La banda estaba compuesta por David Ditchfield, Noel Green y Jenny Jones, quienes se unieron tras un altercado callejero. Conocidos inicialmente como Inside Out, comenzaron a actuar en pubs de Birmingham a principios de 1980. Impresionados por su actuación en vivo, The Beat les ofreció grabar un single bajo su sello Go Feet y los invitó a unirse a una gira por el Reino Unido. Aunque solo lanzaron dos singles de 7 pulgadas, “Annapurna” y “Georgie Girl”, dejaron una huella significativa en la escena indie
