The Parachute Men

THE PARACHUTE MEN fue una banda de indie pop británica formada en 1985 en Leeds, Inglaterra. La banda estaba compuesta por Fiona Gregg (voz), Stephen H. Gregg (guitarra), Andrew Howes (bajo) y Ian Masters (batería). Son conocidos por su sonido jangly y melódico que se alinea con la escena indie pop de mediados de los años 80. Aunque no lograron un gran éxito comercial, The Parachute Men lanzó dos álbumes, “The Innocents” en 1988 y “Earth, Dogs and Eggshells” en 1989, y varios singles que fueron bien recibidos en la escena indie. La banda se disolvió en 1990, pero su música sigue siendo apreciada por los fanáticos del indie pop.
