The Passions

THE PASSIONS fue una banda británica de Post-Punk y New Wave formada en 1978 en Shepherd’s Bush, Londres. La banda estaba compuesta por Barbara Gogan (voz y guitarra), Clive Timperley (guitarra), David Agar (bajo) y Richard Williams (batería). Son conocidos principalmente por su éxito de 1981 “I’m in Love with a German Film Star”. A pesar de ser considerados un “one-hit wonder”, su música, caracterizada por la voz distintiva de Gogan y la guitarra atmosférica de Timperley, ha dejado una huella duradera en el panorama musical de los años 80. La banda se disolvió en 1983
