The Piranhas

THE PIRANHAS fue una banda de punk británica formada en 1977 en Brighton, conocida por su sencillo “I Don’t Want My Body” y su versión de “Tom Hark”. El cantante principal era “Boring” Bob Grover y durante una actuación en Top of the Pops, el baterista usó peces de plástico como baquetas. Después de la desintegración de la banda, el guitarrista Johnny Helmer se convirtió en compositor, conocido por escribir para Marillion. En 2018, el baterista Dick Slexia (Richard Adland) murió de cáncer de pulmón
