The Players Association

THE PLAYERS ASOCIATION fue una banda de estudio con base en Nueva York, activa entre 1977 y 1981. Formada por el baterista y arreglista Chris Hills y el productor Danny Weiss, la banda contó con músicos de sesión de jazz líderes como Joe Farrell, David Sanborn, James Mtume, Bob Berg, Mike Mandel, entre otros. Aunque escribieron algunas de sus propias canciones, el grupo se centró principalmente en versiones. Sus mayores éxitos fueron “Disco Inferno”, una versión de la canción de The Trammps, y su propia composición "Turn the Music Up!"
