The Silencers

THE SILENCERS es una banda escocesa de rock formada en Londres en 1986 por Jimmie O’Neill y Cha Burns, exmiembros del grupo post-punk Fingerprintz. Su música se caracteriza por una mezcla melódica de pop, folk y tradicionales influencias celtas. A lo largo de su carrera, han lanzado varios álbumes aclamados, incluyendo su debut A Letter From St. Paul y el popular A Blues for Buddha. Aunque nunca alcanzaron un éxito comercial masivo, han mantenido una base de fans leal y han sido comparados con bandas escocesas contemporáneas como Simple Minds y Big Country
