The Sound

THE SOUND fue una banda inglesa de post-punk formada en el sur de Londres en 1979 y disuelta en 1988. Liderada por Adrian Borland, la banda evolucionó a partir de su grupo anterior, The Outsiders. Aunque nunca alcanzaron un gran éxito comercial, The Sound fue muy apreciada por la crítica. Su música se caracterizaba por letras introspectivas y un sonido oscuro y melancólico. A lo largo de su carrera, lanzaron varios álbumes aclamados, incluyendo “Jeopardy” y “From the Lions Mouth”, y realizaron giras por Europa, especialmente en los Países Bajos, donde tenían una base de seguidores considerable
