The Tubes

THE TUBES es una banda de rock originaria de San Francisco, California, activa desde 1972. Conocidos por su estilo artístico y glam rock, su álbum debut de 1975 incluyó el sencillo “White Punks on Dope”. Lograron un gran éxito con su sencillo de 1983 “She’s a Beauty”, que se convirtió en un hit top-10 en EE.UU. y cuyo video musical fue muy popular en los primeros días de MTV. La banda también es reconocida por sus actuaciones teatrales y su influencia en la incorporación de elementos visuales en la música rock
