The Tunes

THE TUNES era un grupo de power pop formado por cuatro hermanos: Colin, Steve, Andy y Paul Thorpe. Se formaron en 1978 en Manchester y se inspiraron en bandas como The Beatles, The Kinks o The Who. Su estilo se caracterizaba por combinar melodías pop con guitarras eléctricas y letras ingeniosas. Publicaron varios singles y un álbum entre 1980 y 1982, pero no consiguieron el éxito comercial que esperaban. Se separaron en 1983, aunque se reunieron ocasionalmente para tocar en directo
