The Vaselines

THE VASELINES es una banda de indie pop escocesa formada en Glasgow en 1986. Originalmente un dúo compuesto por Eugene Kelly y Frances McKee, la banda se expandió para incluir a James Seenan y Charlie Kelly. A pesar de su breve existencia inicial, The Vaselines tuvieron un impacto significativo en la música alternativa, influenciando a bandas como Nirvana, que versionó varias de sus canciones. Tras su separación poco después del lanzamiento de su álbum Dum-Dum, la banda se reunió ocasionalmente, disfrutando de un renacimiento gracias a la admiración de Kurt Cobain y una nueva generación de fans
