THE WOLFGANG PRESS fue una banda inglesa de post-punk activa entre 1983 y 1995, conocida por su estilo ecléctico y su éxito internacional “A Girl Like You (Born to Be Kissed)”. Formada por Michael Allen (voz, bajo), Mark Cox (teclados) y Andrew Gray (guitarra), la banda grabó para el sello 4AD y se destacó por su transformación de post-punk a “avant-dance groovers” con su álbum “Queer”. A pesar de ser etiquetados a menudo como góticos, rechazaron esta clasificación, prefiriendo una identidad musical más diversa y experimental
