Tracie Young

TRACIE YOUNG, nacida el 25 de marzo de 1965 en Derby, Inglaterra, es una cantante pop inglesa que alcanzó el éxito en la década de 1980 tras convertirse en protegida de Paul Weller. Fue descubierta a través de un anuncio en la revista Smash Hits para el sello Respond Records de Weller. Tracie se destacó por su participación en el último sencillo de The Jam, “Beat Surrender”, y por su colaboración con The Style Council. Su álbum debut, “Far from the Hurting Kind”, fue lanzado en 1984 y producido por Weller, quien también escribió algunas de las canciones, incluyendo “(I Love You) When You Sleep”, escrita específicamente para ella por Elvis Costello
