Tuxedomoon

TUXEDOMOON es una banda de post-punk y new wave formada a finales de los años 70 en San Francisco. Originalmente compuesta por Steven Brown y Blaine L. Reininger, la banda es conocida por su sonido único de “cabaret no-wave”. El bajista Peter Principle se unió más tarde y en 1979 lanzaron el sencillo “No Tears”. Tras firmar con Ralph Records, lanzaron su primer álbum, Half-Mute. Después de que Reininger dejara la banda, se trasladaron a Europa y lanzaron Holy Wars en 1985. Aunque se separaron a principios de los 90, se reunieron más tarde y han permanecido juntos desde el lanzamiento de Cabin in the Sky en 2004.
