Vaughan Mason And Crew

VAUGHAN MASON AND CREW fue un grupo estadounidense de funk y post-disco liderado por Vaughan Mason, activo entre 1979 y 1982. Son conocidos principalmente por su sencillo “Bounce, Rock, Skate, Roll”, que alcanzó el número 5 en las listas de Billboard Hot Soul Singles y el número 38 en las listas de Disco Top 100 en 1980, capitalizando la popularidad del patinaje sobre ruedas de la época. Mason, quien falleció de causas naturales en 2020 a la edad de 69 años, también colaboró con artistas como Butch Dayo y Raze, y dejó un legado musical que ha sido sampleado por varios artistas, incluyendo a De La Soul, Mr. Magic, Jimmy Spicer y Daft Punk
