Wah!

WAH! fue una banda británica de post-punk y new wave formada en Liverpool en 1980 por el cantante y guitarrista Pete Wylie, quien fue acompañado por varios músicos a lo largo de la existencia del grupo. La banda es conocida por su estilo ecléctico, que combinaba el rock con influencias de soul y pop. Wah! tuvo varios nombres a lo largo de su carrera, incluyendo Wah! Heat, Shambeko! Say Wah!, y The Mighty Wah!. Su sencillo más famoso, “The Story of the Blues”, alcanzó el número tres en las listas del Reino Unido en 1982. A pesar de los cambios en la formación y los diferentes nombres, Pete Wylie y Wah! dejaron una marca indeleble en la música de los años 80 con su sonido distintivo y letras emotivas
