Frankie Goes To Hollywood

FRANKIE GOES TO HOLLYWOOD es una banda británica de synth-pop formada en Liverpool en 1980. El grupo estaba compuesto por Holly Johnson (voz), Paul Rutherford (coros), Mark O’Toole (bajo), Brian Nash (guitarra) y Peter Gill (batería). Alcanzaron la fama con su primer single, Relax, que fue seguido por éxitos como Two Tribes y The Power of Love. Su álbum debut, Welcome to the Pleasuredome, fue un éxito comercial. La banda se destacó por sus letras provocativas y su estilo audaz, lo que les valió tanto éxito como controversia. Se disolvieron en 1987, pero su legado perdura como uno de los grupos más influyentes de los años 80
